We expect children to arrive at school on time so they can have a calm and settled start to their day. Children are able to come into their classroom from 8.45 am onwards with registration starting at 9.00 am for all year groups. 

Children come into school through the door nearest to their classroom and are expected to hang up their coats, put their book bags away and if they bring a packed lunch, put lunchboxes away. Children must be accompanied to school by an adult who waits with them until they enter the classroom unless they are in Year 6 and have permission to walk to school. 

Children in Years 3-6 are escorted by their teachers to the nearest exit at the end of the day ready for collection. Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 should be collected from the classroom door.

Home time collection times are:

Reception - 3:15 - 3:30 pm

Year 1 and Year 2 - 3:25 pm

Year 3 and Year 4 – 3:30 pm

Year 5 and Year 6 – 3:35 pm

It is vital that a known adult collects your child at the end of the school day. Please inform the school office immediately if there are any changes to your arrangements. Year 6 pupils can walk home independently with written consent. Siblings need parental approval for pick-up. Please notify us of any changes.   

Teachers are available for informal discussion or enquiries on each day after school except Wednesday.   Senior Leaders are available for informal discussions before and after school daily.

Moor Green Mile

Start you day actively! The Moor Green Mile is open to Years 2-6 and starts at 8:30am, the gate will close by 8:40am. It gives children a chance to run, skip or walk a mile before they start the day. To sign your child up please click HERE
